Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, im trying to install a Windows 10 OS with an HP external optical disk drive.

I cant see the cd option when i open the boot menu, and i cant find the enable legacy option on bios.

Ive seen from other posts that im im suppose to enter secure boot configuration but it doesnt even show on the security tab.

I do see the HP CDDVD on the storage tab device configuration, and i can confirm the disk is working.

Hi:

Your PC has a legacy BIOS, so there is no secure boot option.  Not until a few years later.

Have the USB CD drive/W10 disk inserted.

Turn on or restart the PC.

Press the F9 key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to get the boot options menu.

Select the USB DVD drive from the list of items on the menu, and press the Enter key.
