I have seen this issue brought up in several other threads . Unfortunately none of these solutions seem to be helping me out. I have 2 of Laptops That I have been using for approximately 5 years. Both of them are having issues with charging. I changed the charging port Following the procedure that was outlined in the Manual. Initially the laptop powered on but It almost immediately Flash off . Now there is no Charging light when plugged in however when I hit the power button, It flashes 8 times Briefly and then turns off . I have tried to Disconnect the battery, utilized different charge port commector, charged the battery all night. All to no avail. I even Attempted to maneuver where You hold down the power button for 30 to 40 seconds And connect the charger with no battery power. I saw that some people were able to Improve the situation with alternate adapter however I Connect to the known functional charger With no Improvement.
At this point it would not be cost-effective To replace the mother board. I am also terrified to attempt to fix The other charge port.
Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

@AsperknollsWelcome to HP Community!
I understand that the Spectre 13-4003dx laptop charging light blinks, after changing the charging port.
AS you have stated that you have already replaced the charging port and performed the hard reset.
The issue seems to be the hardware part. I would suggest you contact our phone support. They will help you.
