Compaq Elite 8300 Bios Recovery No Boot

Out of Blue during a normal restart computer went on the fritz. During start up no screen (No Signal) no power to keyboard or USB ports. Nothing boots and after about 30 sec the fans go full throttle. I've tried resetting the CMOS and loading BIOS recovery on a thumb drive and even tried a Bootable FreeDOS but no response from USB.

Anyone have this problem and figured out what to do or any thoughts of what I can try to fix this.

That is normal, when the POST (Power On Self Test) runs, as soon as you power-on your computer.

That POST detects the temperature of the motherboard, and the temperature of the CPU, and will tell the fans to slow/quiet down.  But, if the POST does not complete, due to some hardware problem, the fans will continue to "roar".

So, a few possibilities: 

1. failing power-supply
2. failing motherboard
3. failing processor

because the POST did not complete successfully.

I doubt that "resetting the BIOS values" or "updating the BIOS" will have any POSITIVE effects; as many horror-stories on this discussion forum have reported, such actions usually "brick" the motherboard.

Find a qualified computer technician, who can try a different power-supply. If that makes no difference, then replacing the processor and/or the motherboard is your only option, other than buying a new "ready for Windows 11" computer. That computer will run Windows 10, and will be able to be upgraded, for free, in early 2022, to Windows 11.
