Greetings Tahnta,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

I would run HP Hardware Diagnostics to eliminate or disclose a hardware problem first.

Tap 'ESC" at system startup.

Select "F2".

Run System Tests. You can also run component tests.

You may have a Windows problem if hardware tests pass.

A Windows boot problem can get messy to the point which causes one to reinstall the operating system. This is a last resort and you should backup data before doing this.

Try troubleshooting steps described at this site (Link).

You could try a system restore, go back to a previous build, image recovery if you do Windows system backup images, or try a startup repair.

Regards
