Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

I have owned my computer for a few years and I’m sure this has happened to me before and in the past when my computer was stuck on boot infinitely loading I was able to get to the F11 menu and reset my computer but now after I try that it goes back into loading or just goes to a blank screen. I have tried booting EUFI but it goes into loading forever too. Stuck here. Any advice or answers would be appreciated. I think I’m going to try and reinstall Windows somehow.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

Try tapping "ESC" at boot to see if you can get to the HP UEFI Startup Menu.

You can get to the BIOS or run HP diagnostics using this menu.

You may have a hardware problem if you cannot get to this menu.

Troubleshooting a bad POST (Power On Self Test) is very difficult in a forum.

You have to check all components, component connections, and peripheral devices connected to the PC.

You may have to have a local PC tech diagnose the problem.

Sorry, solving this type of problem in a forum is very difficult.

Regards

I will probably have to get it taken to a local place to see if it can be resolved since I’m not sure what else I can do about this.

Thank you for the advice!
