Compaq 8200 Elite SFF
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I tried to update the BIOS as I was having trouble upgrading to Windows 10. The computer froze for a while then restarted but I only get to a black screen. Nothing shows up. The drive lights come on. The top one stays one. After about a minute, the fan turns on high.

Steps I have taken:

1. Unplugged everything, pulled the battery, held down the power key for 30 seconds

2. I downloaded the BIOS recovery software from HP, however, when I run it, it does not look the same as the video. There is no option to create a bootable USB. I don't know how to do this. The software unzips and creates a number of files but it does not work on the dead computer

3. I have tried holding down the Windows key and the B key while turning on the computer - nothing

4. Tried hitting F10 repeatedly - Nothing

Any help is appreciated. I am a little desparate.
