HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2000i (1K4J1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Relatively new 8 proc gaming system now has extremely long boot time.  It takes about 10 minutes before the HP logo shows up. While I'm not sure if it's related (because it did not happen right away), this started after the 22H2 W11 for x64 update.  It seems more hardware and/or peripheral related as the delay is prior to the HP logo appearing.

Thanks very kindly for any ideas you may have.

John

I hope this helps someone.

I fixed the problem.   It was an unhappy USB peripheral device.  Unplug all your peripherals and you can one-by-one isolate to the naughty USB device causing the problem.

Be advised, the configuration (of USB devices) may have worked for a very long many months just fine, BUT a W11 patch can change that and suddenly you have this problem.

Now it boots in less than 60 seconds.
