Have an HP desktop all in one.
23-q110na
product number: N8X85EA#ABU
Windows 10 ce
Bought new less than a year ago.
I want to partition the drive 50 50 between Windows 10 and Linux Mint.
I've been in the bios and set to boot from cd/dvd but it won't boot from the disc.
I've done this before a hundred times over the years so I know the ISO. I have just put on disc is fine.
In fact tried it on a Windows 7 machine and it boots.
Is the machine preventing this or W10?
Thankyou for reading.

Hi:
In order to boot from a DVD, you have to go into the BIOS, enable legacy mode, and disable secure boot.
See this link for details...it pertains to all desktop PC's that came from the factory with W8 or newer installed.
