I did a Quick Test HP Envy Desktop serial # [edited]. Everything passed except Hard drive short DST check . It failed with a failure ID:Q0D6TD-711A07-WPTWWK-60T403
underneath the failure ID was this:
Product ID: H5Q09AA#ABA

Hi,
Please remove the product serial number.
The HDD is failing.
Backup data ASAP.
Replace the HDD.
Go with an equivalent capacity 2.5 inch SATA SSD if you need to use HP factory recovery disks.
Much better PC performance.
A 2 TB SATA SSD could cost more than you want to spend. You can do a smaller SSD (512 GB or 1 TB) if you don't need to use HP Windows 8 Recovery media or you have updated to Windows 10.
Your call.
Regards
