am attempting to run HP's printer programming which was updated as of late and broke all my printing. I run a continually updated Arch (which is 5.10.14 as of Feb 28, 2021). Clearly they use Qt now so it is some sort of necessity so I went through 2 hours assembling this load of Qt stuff. It appears to be insane that HP is requiring linux clients publix.org to go through hours building dark bundles to make sure they can print. lpstat - a says the printers are prepared and working/inactive, however nothing can print to them. The cups log says the print neglected to a "backend mistake".
In any case, hp-arrangement currently holds tight startup and hp-check gives a blunder that PyQt4 can't import QtCore, which is the standard way PyQt clients attempt to confirm the variant of Qt they are running under. Along these lines, evidently there is some sort of variant struggle between the two. Here is the applicable part of my pip list:
PyOpenGL 3.1.5
pyOpenSSL 20.0.1
pyparsing 2.4.7
PyQt3D 5.15.2
PyQt4-taste 4.19.24
PyQt5 5.15.2
PyQt5-taste 12.8.1
PyQtChart 5.15.2
PyQtDataVisualization 5.15.2
PyQtPurchasing 5.15.2
PyQtWebEngine 5.15.2
Things being what they are, is the issue that I have PyQt5 on my framework and the HP programming needs PyQt4? Provided that this is true, would i be able to have both on a similar framework? What is the strategy to analyze this?

I'm sorry, but HP does not provide support for Linux distros.
Your best bet for support now is to contact the support forum of the distro you are using.
