When I start my computer it freezes once it gets to the blue screen with the logo. When I hit esc nothing happens. If I have esc held down when I start the computer it will go to a black page that has system information and the word startup on bottom right corner. But it does not allow me to highlight that.

I have gone through your Post and would like to help
Were there any recent updates or Hardware changes done on the computer?
Please try running a System Test to confirm the Hardware Functionality
- Shut down the computer completely. Remove the Power Cord, press and hold the power button for 20 secs to perform a power drain
- Put back the Power Cord and turn it back on, then tap the F2 key repeatedly until the Startup menu screen is displayed.
- Click System Tests
