HP 27-a210 All-in-one Beep Code
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having issues with this desktop booting. It is giving a beep code of two long beeps and two short beeps. I have researched this and everything says Bios corruption. I have tried rolling back and updating the Bios and this does not resolve the issue. When I try to update the Bios it recieve the message "The System Bios update failed. Bios image file specified is not intended for this system." no matter which version I try.

The machine also blue screens with the error "System_PTE_Misuse".

Hi

Hope this helps.

You get a LONG (MAJOR) signal category, RED LED &

then a SHORT (MINOR) signal category, WHITE LED.

Major – the category of the error; Minor – specific error in that category

The AUDIBLE repeats 5 times, and the VISUAL until power is removed.

BIOS

2.2

The main area (DXE) of BIOS has become corrupted and there is no recovery binary image available.

Also happens when updating BIOS.

Typically no steps needed.

1. Allow the system to complete its updates and changes.

2. If updates are stalling, attempt Sure Start Recovery.

Therefore I suggest....

You may need to create a BIOS flash drive and replace/re-install the BIOS.

There are FOUR different MAIN BOARD's BIOS files listed.  You need the EXACT one.

ESC and then F1 get's you here.

Mine's 8130.  Your choices seem to be

SSID 81B7

SSID 81B8

SSID 81B9

SSID 82DC

Okay, I have done all of this and reinstalled the Bios after finding the correct board ID and matched it with the correct bios download. The install goes through but the machine still blue screens on boot and gives me the same beep code (2.2)
