Help, how do I force my PC to boot from a USB drive? Is there some password, or preset Bios that forces the boot to go straight to the HD?

You most likely need to change the BIOS settings to list the USB as the first choice.

If you have a bootable USB source, then enter the BIOS setup and change the boot order to use the USB.  The bootable USB must be in the USB port when doing this.

Start tapping the Esc key BEFORE starting the PC and then press the start button.
Keep tapping the Esc key until a popup menu shows. Pick F10 from the popup menu.

You can do the same thing by tapping F10 from the beginning, but Esc always works for me.
