After a windows update of my HP Envy BIOS, my computer will not boot with nothing on the screen.
The fans operate, so I know we have power.
I have tried the power reset pressing the Windows key and the b key and nothing happens.
I have also removed and replaced the BIOS battery, but it did not help either.
Thank you for any help.

Below is the link to the latest BIOS update HP has for your PC:
HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1177c Software and Driver Details
The only suggestion I can offer would be to make a USB BIOS recovery flash drive using another PC and try to recover the BIOS that way.
Updating the BIOS on HP Consumer Desktops outside of Windows 11| HP Computers| HP Support
Follow the instructions that show up on the screen after the BIOS recovery drive is created for how to recover the BIOS.
It normally indicates this for the instructions:
1. Power off the device to be recovered.
2. Insert the USB flash drive into a USB port.
3. Power on the device.
4. The device may reboot up to 3 times with indicator lights on the keyboard flashing, or the screen appearing blank for short time.
You can also try the method in this video use for most HP consumer notebook PCs for how to recover the BIOS with the BIOS recovery drive if the above instructions do not work for your PC:
Hopefully, that will fix the problem for you.

Thank you for the response.
Unfortunately, the USB BIOS recovery flash drive did not help.
When turning on the PC, the flash drive LED blinks only ones. It seems that the PC does not read anything from it.
I have tried different flash drives, also formatted them with NTFS and FAT (the HP program formats the drive with FAT32).
But, nothing helped. The PC stays silent, no LEDs on the attached keyboard are flashing.
I also tried removing RAM. In this case, the PC beeps and the power LED is flashing. So, it seems that the motherboard is not dead.
I have ordered CH341 Programmer and I will try reprogram the BIOS.
Thank you for your help!
