Yay! making progress now.

v2.90 updates OK, now the restart seem sorted.

 

There is also 

ROM Firmware for 8300 Elite and 6300 Pro Business PCs (K01) date april 2019

which is the latest updae, but this fails as incompatible.

 

Maybe I also need

Business Desktops BIOS Utilities date june 2014

which seems to be maybe an intermediate. But this looks different - it has no DOS flash folder. It also fails as incompatible.

 

you did say update via v2.99... but this isnt listed? only v2.90

 

Maybe i should quit while I'm ahead?!

OK - done and dusted. I have the APril 2019 update done but skipped June 2014 utilities update.

 

all looks good, thanks again!
