Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a Elitedesk 705 G4 MT that came with 1 8GB memory module installed. It has 4 DIMM slots and supports up to 64GB installed. I purchased a DDR4-2666 32gb kit (2x16GB) and installed the new memory (removing the old 8GB) and it will not boot. It powers on, the fans spin and the nic flashes but nothing else. No beeps, no error, no anything.
If I install just the 8GB module or either of the 16GB individually it boots normally. Both 16GB modules pass the memory diagnostic individually, but I can't get the system to boot with 2 memory modules installed in any slot combination.
I'm about to toss this whole thing, hopefully someone here has some idea.
