HP Envy 23 TouchSmart All-In-One PC has a black screen, power led lit, CPU fan running.

Product: HP Envy 23 TouchSmart All-In-One PC

I have HP envy 23 and i was working fine. but yesterday i started it after a month and it has a black screen now. Cpu fan is running, led on power button lit. the cd drive working. the led on left side is lit for 5 seconds and then it goes. please help. I have tried removing CMOS battery and reinserting it. i have tried bios restore by windows+B but it's not working. i have wireless keyboard one which came with pc. i i  not sure if it's working.

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

Please provide a specific product number. Can't determine the age of your PC using Envy 23.

 

You could have a power supply problem or motherboard component failure.

 

Disconnect any unnecessary peripherals. Try starting the PC with only a mouse and keyboard.

 

Try a different wired USB keyboard and mouse.
