Product: HP ProDesk 600 G5 Base Model Desktop Mini PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Problem: HP Sure Start reports Intel Management Engine firmware corruption. Recovery targets version 12.0.96.2562, reaches approximately 50%, then the computer powers off, restarts after about 10 seconds, and repeats.
Troubleshooting already performed:
Tried Esc and F10; neither opens the startup menus.
Removed the CMOS coin-cell battery.
Held the power button for 60 seconds with the battery disconnected.
The recovery loop persists.
Requested service: Diagnose the Intel ME firmware recovery failure and determine whether an HP-supported firmware repair is possible before replacing the motherboard.
Computer: HP ProDesk 600 G5 Desktop Mini
Product number: 6FY52AV
