I know there are lots of posts on here about the 3 long beeps followed by 3 short ones on power up.  Everyone's solution seems to be reseat the graphics card then the thread dies/gets closed.  I wanted to share my workaround but hopefully see if there was a way anyone knows how to bypass this so I can reboot without the workaround?

For me, I use dual Display Port cables for my aftermarket card.  The solution seems to be unplug the DP cables, boot the computer, then plug them back in.  This is obviously a huge pain.  Is there a setting in the bios I can leverage or something that will bypass whatever check that fails when I turn on my tower?

Although I discourage users from updating the BIOS, have you checked to see if there is a newer BIOS for your motherboard, and if the documentation with it addresses the problem that you are experiencing?

I looked in the Support Software; I don't see any updates for the bios... I agree though, not a fan of updating that.  I thought there would at least be a setting in my BIOS to say "allow headless" or something....
