After doing the system tune up for hard drive ( or something like that), a lot of things passed, expect for one thing, called Hard Disk Long DST. Does that mean I need a new hard drive?

I have some important data on it, but I only backed it up on it's D drive. Is there a cost-friendly place to recover the data? Or could I do it myself?

Whenever the Hard Disk Short DST test fails that indicates that the Hard Disk Drive has failed and that requires a replacement to resolve the issue

This issue could be due to Application or driver conflicts, virus issues, file corruptions due to incompatible applications, improper shutdowns, update failures due to conflicts, sudden power surges,  etc..

HP will provide a replacement Hard Disk Drive if the PC  warranty is Active, If not you need buy a Hard Disk Drive from a retail shop nearby.

please Contact HP if your HP PC is under warranty, HP would replace the Hard Disk Drive and provide you a Recovery media to restore factory operating system after replacement (if you've not yet created Recovery Discs/USB Media)
