Hi @MaDee62,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how stressful this situation can be. Your HP All-in-One keyboard isn’t working, and you’ve forgotten your password and PIN, so you can’t log in. Let’s break this down and get you back in control.

Step 1: Fix Keyboard Issue

  • Check Connection: If it’s wireless, replace batteries or reconnect via Bluetooth/USB dongle.
  • Try Another Keyboard: If possible, plug in a USB keyboard temporarily to proceed.
  • Reset Keyboard: For HP wireless keyboards, press and hold the connect button (usually on the bottom) for 5–10 seconds.

Step 2: Reset Forgotten Password/PIN

Since you can’t log in, you’ll need to use Windows Recovery Options:

Option A: Use Microsoft Account

  • If your PC uses a Microsoft account, go to Microsoft Password Reset from another device.
  • Reset your password and log in with the new one.

Option B: Local Account – Hard Reset

If you have a local account and forgot the password:

  1. Power Off the PC.
  2. Turn On and Interrupt Boot 3 Times
    • Press the power button, then hold it down to force a shutdown when Windows starts loading.
    • Repeat 3 times until you see Automatic Repair.
  3. Choose Advanced Options > Troubleshoot > Reset This PC.
  4. Select Remove Everything or Keep My Files (your choice).
    • This will reinstall Windows and remove the password.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
