How do I get out of "Safe Mode" upon start up?

Hi

Press F8 at power on, repeatedly, and go into Safe Mode and look to select

Last Known Good Configuration (advanced). Starts Windows with the last registry and driver configuration that worked successfully.

@BikerBilly

Pressing F8, as recommended by @Lil_Boy_Blue generally does work.

But if that does not, an alternative is the following:

1) In the Start area, enter MSCONFIG

2) Select the BOOT tab, see if the check box next to Safe Mode is checked, if it is, uncheck it

3) Reboot

Your PC should now no longer boot into Safe mode

Good Luck

Thanks guys for your suggestions.  I wound-up doing a recovery to 11/05/2018 and that  solved my problem.  I never had a problem getting out of "safe mode" before.

I appreciate your help and wish I had your brains!
