Product: hp envy 700-160eo
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have old hp envy 700-160eo and my problem is that I can't access bios. I have tried all (at least I think I have) possible f numbers but it just doesn't work. I have also taken the battery off for ~20 minutes but no change. 

 

The computer is old but it could still be used for virtual machines and therefore all help is much appreciated.

Hi:

 

In order to access the BIOS you need to:

 

Turn on, or restart the PC.

 

Rapidly tap the ESC key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to get the menu of options.

 

Select the F10 setup option, and press the Enter key.

 

Now you should be in the BIOS.
