Finally done, all passed..well 4 show passed but the other 2 just have a dash -. I tried to do the updates again but it never moved passed 1% and after about an hour it failed on the same ones as previous. I double checked if it needed a key but it shows its active and doesnt need one. Not sure where to go from here. I tried contacting support, they were supposed to transfer me to software techs but instead I got cell phone something..found it odd thats what he said but he was somewhat knowledgable of my issues but said if he transfered me it would cost even though I purchased the HD from HP and the 1st rep said it wouldnt cost me anything. Im a bit lost at this point because the failed updates are things like windows defender, things I would definitely want and use, like audio driver as well(thought it makes sound). I did however get an AMD catalyst Control center box pop umr2.jpgIt did a couple of updates while shutting down after my last post but this tartedagain all over today with this being the most progress it will achieve. It stays at 1% for awhile then says sorry we had trouble well try again later. I have a strange feeling its due to me skipping puting an email into the Microsoft account but I dont recall having to do it on other computers to get the updates to install properly. About to contact support hoping it wont be like yesterday and I actually get through to software. I was told to wait until Monday as thats when the normal techs are open and only the advanced is open on the weekends
