Hi @Rose_ann01
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
You may press Entre to pass this screen,
Sometimes a stuck key on the keyboard (usually the "F2" or "Del" key) can cause the system to enter the BIOS setup. Make sure no keys are physically stuck down.
Check Boot Order:
- Enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F2, DEL, or ESC during startup).
- Navigate to the Boot menu and ensure your hard drive is set as the first boot device.
Reset Bois:
To reset the BIOS to default settings on an HP computer, follow these steps:
Turn Off Your Computer: Make sure your computer is completely shut down.
Enter BIOS Setup:
- Turn on your computer and immediately start pressing the F10 key repeatedly (or ESC and then F10 for some models) until the BIOS setup utility opens.
Navigate to Defaults:
- Once in the BIOS, use the arrow keys to navigate through the menu. Look for an option that says "Restore Defaults," "Load Setup Defaults," or "Reset to Default." This is usually found in the "File" menu or in a similar section.
Confirm the Reset:
- Select the option to restore or load defaults. You may need to confirm your choice.
Save and Exit:
- After restoring the defaults, find the option to "Save Changes and Exit." This is typically done by pressing F10 or selecting it from the menu.
Reboot: Your computer will restart with the default BIOS settings.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
