Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello.

Today I newly bought a new ASUS GTX1050. The problem that occured was that the PC did not boot and beeped several times ( don't know how many times it was ). So I researched a bit about that issue, it turns out that my old BIOS is not compatible with my new GPU.

I tried to update my BIOS which is on 7.06 version right now. I installed a BIOS update that I downloaded from the official site but it did not update my BIOS, so I am requesting an immediate help on that issue. I can't really figure out how I am supposed to update my BIOS because I have zero knowledge of it.

I replaced my new one with GT610 which I was using before, it works without any problems.

Thanks.

From what I have read on these threads and elsewhere, you have found the culprit and there is no solution.  The BIOS series in the 7.** range is the problem and the solutions is a BIOS with a 8.** which HP is not providing.  With the OEM boards used, there is no choice if the OEM does not provide the newer BIOS.  So, if you want to use that card, a different motherboard from a reguler series motherboard will be needed.  That is not horrible just not practical unless you are up to it.
