I am trying to install Ubuntu on my HP desktop, but the installer requires that RST be disabled. However, I can't find any options in the BIOS for disabling RST. Background: The original hard drive had Windows 10 installed, but the drive failed. I purchased a replacement drive with the intention of installing Unbuntu as a standalone operating system. I need to disable RST in order to install Unbuntu. I would appreciate any assistance that can be offered for disabling RST.

I know this is not strictly a Linux issue, but nonetheless, HP provides no Linux support including installation issues.
You would need to contact the support forum for the Linux distro you are trying to install to get support.
