Google-search for "download free SPECCY".
Download, install, and run this software.
It will show you the temperature of the motherboard, the CPU, the disk-drive, and the speed (RPM) of the fan.
Boot your computer, and run it.
Run it, every 10 minutes, to see if the computer starts to "overheat", just before it crashes.
Have you taken a can of compressed-air, and given the computer a "blow-job", to remove most of the accumulated dust inside the computer?
Be sure to have a good "backup" of your personal files, before you send it away to be repaired/replaced.

Just in case it helps anybody else out the fault in the end turned out to be a faulty sata cable to the dvd drive once the cable was replaced the issues were all gone.
Annoying the fault symptoms led to the red herring of Hard drive error Hard disk 2 ( 3F2 ) !!??
pleased resolved now hope the thread helps people in the future ?

>>> Move the SATA cable from the disk-drive to a different SATA port on the motherboard.
>>> Disconnect the SATA cable that leads from the DVD drive from the motherboard.
>>> Does the error-message still report '3F2' ?
>>> Reconnect the SATA cable that leads from the DVD drive to a previously-unused SATA port on the motherboard.
>>> Does the DVD drive now show-up within BIOS SETUP ?
Close, but no cigar.
> ... the fault in the end turned out to be a faulty SATA cable to the DVD ...
Good detective work!
> Annoying [that] the fault symptoms led to the red herring of Hard drive error Hard disk 2 ( 3F2 ) !!??
Yes, it was misleading that the bad cable misled the motherboard into NOT identifying the device as the "other" type of SATA device. The two types: disk-drive or CD/DVD/BluRay optical device. The motherboard detected that "some" device was attached, but could not identify the device as being an optical drive, and so "defaulted" to calling it to be a "hard-drive" connected on the '3F2' port.
