HP Compaq dc7900 Base Model Small Form Factor PC

My dc7900 does not enter BIOS. When I press any key (F9, F10 or F12) the appropriate text appears on the screen (F10 SETUP) and stays there. It does nothing else. It does not enter BIOS (btw, there is no HDD in it now)

How can I enter BIOS. This way I cannot even flash my BIOS

In order to get into the pop-up menu

Start tapping the Esc key BEFORE starting the PC and then press the start button.
Keep tapping the Esc key until a popup menu shows. Then pick F9 or F10.

Nothing happened, the situation did not change. Still not able to enter BIOS or to boot up, it freezes here

So - you start tapping the Esc key, press the start button while still/keep tapping Esc - nothing happens?

Yes, as you say, nothing happens, just as before.

I would guess there is a problem with the keyboard being recognized.  What keyboard is being used?  PS/2 or USB - use a PS/2 keyboard.

I tried both. The keyboard is recognized (in both cases) because when I push the f9 or F10 the appropriate text appears, then nothing after that (as you can see on the photo).

I know of no other way to get into the BIOS under the present circumstances.  Sorry
