HP 22 all in one

Hi my desktop will

not turn on. The power cord is fine and there is a light into the back of computer where the power cord goes in but when I press the power button there is no light  or sound to the computer? I’ve unplugged everything and pressed power button for 15 seconds as suggested in virtual chat. I’ve check the electric power sockets and they all work. It is only 6 months old ?? Any suggestions?

I have heard of this before and my friend found out that it was a power supply issue. The power unit (where power cord plugs into) was not working properly. The unit was not putting out as much power that was needed to runn the computer.

Yes that was the only think I could think of was that not working but because there was a light at the back of the computer where the cord goes in I assumed it was working. I will look at getting a new adaptor to see if that’s the problem . Thank you
