Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a “no signal check cable or video source” error after a power outage. It was plugged into a surge protector.

i verified that monitor and hdmi are good by plugging in another source and got video.

monitor status

vga: inactive

hdmi: inactive

Hi,

You verified the monitor and HDMI cable work.

So this suggests the power outage or restoration of AC power may have damaged the PC.

Surge protectors have limitations.

What is happening when you start the PC? Any startup sounds or active LEDs on the front and back of the chassis?

Regards
