@Johnjoprendek3 -- possible failure points:
- external power-supply unit;
- connector where the power-supply is plugged-in to the laptop has broken away from the motherboard;
- dead motherboard (invisible-to-the-eye cracks, after it falling to the floor);
- dead battery (try booting with it removed);
- failing motherboard that diverts 100% of the incoming power to recharge the battery, and none to the motherboard;
- dead processor;
If you purchased the computer within the last 12 months, contact HP Support, to open a claim against the HP Warranty. If the warranty has expired, maybe a local certified computer technician can be paid to trouble-shoot.
