Omen 30L desktop, ryzen 5 5600g, ge force 3060.
it’s the 3rd device I’ve had in the space of 6 weeks, with basically the same issues, the other 2 I returned.
First of all it had trouble going into sleep mode, after some research and configuring, I managed to get the current one into sleep mode, problem is, now it won’t wake, after a certain amount of time.
I haven’t studied the amount of time, I have it set for 20 mins, for screen and PC to goto sleep, once it goes into sleep mode, it will wake as normal inside an hour or so. Any longer than that, again this is estimated times, it will basically freeze in sleep mode, the CPU fan will be on, the diamond flashing(as it should in sleep) and the only way to get it operable again it to pull the plug….
I’ve had HP, remotely deal with it, pretty much doing all the things I’ve already done, didn’t fix it….they sending me a USB of windows, to do a reinstall, not holding my breath though….
Any ideas, thoughts are welcome….

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. You can change specific settings in any of the power plans using the following procedure.
To change power plan settings, complete the following steps:
-
In Windows, search for and open Power Options.
-
In the Choose or customize a power plan window, click Change plan settings next to the plan you want to change.
-
On the Change settings for the plan window, choose the display and sleep settings you want to use.
-
To change more power settings, click Change advanced power settings.
-
On the Advanced settings tab, expand the category you want to customize, expand each setting you want to change, then choose the values you want to use.
-
When done, click OK > Save changes.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
