Model: HP 110-210
Contains: AMD A4-5000 APU, 4GB Ram DDR3 (added 4GB from another computer) total 8GB
Serial No. [Personal Information Removed]
Product ID: F3D15AA#ABA
OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit (upgraded by MS)
I get an HP logo on screen for several seconds and screen goes blank and logo reappears.
This continues until computer is turned off.
Tried everything and cannot get the computer to boot.
I have an external CD/DVD USB drive and cannot boot from that either.
I tried using a bootable disc from MS for Win 10 home which has worked in the past.
Put a different drive in and still nothing. Computer reconized everything but no boot.

Does the POST (Power On Self Test) "beep" madly, if you start it up with *NO* RAM installed? It should.
If not, then I agree with your conclusion.

Can you enter BIOS SETUP mode?
If you can, check that the "boot order" puts either "USB-CDROM" or "Internal CD/DVD" as the first of the "bootable" devices.
If you cannot enter that mode, or it will not start to boot from those devices, you have a significant problem with your motherboard -- usually requiring replacement of the motherboard.

Last time worked was a couple of weeks ago.
Went through the several set of steps on HP site.
Replaced battery.
Tried to boot from CD/DVD drive with Win 10 disk, nothing.
Tried to boot from CD/DVD external drive with Win 10 disk, nothing.
Removed Mem and tried with each separately.
Nothing new had been added.
There may have been an electical surge in the area prior to computer stopping, but computer did work after the surge.
Tried to do Recover and again nothing.
Tried another Hard Drive and nothing.
I think the mother board may be dead.
