Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
I contacted HP and the error is indeed a Hard Disk failure as identified by the HP diagnosis.
The Desktop is still under warranty and will be collected and repaired by HP support.
Thank you for your support in helping identify the problem.

Hi,
My desktop has been repaired twice since you answered my question. but the problems continue
1st repair was for the hard drive which had failed and was replaced.
2nd repair was to investigate the fact that when the desktop starts, it goes straight to a black screen which displays the message ...
HP SparteKey Recovery
System number
HP SpareKey USB Recovery Key
The repair centre said they performed over 100 reboots and could not replicate this error, and returned the PC to me.
As soon as I turn on the Desktop the same message appears and I cannot get past it?
I spoke to Support and they said they would get back to me but they have not.
I asked again today but no one has got back to me and support is now closed.
How can I resolve this?
