HP All-in-One Desktop PC 24-cb0000i (3B8A1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I've cleared the secure boot keys and  the re-loaded the HP factory default keys but didn't help.

I've updated the HP bios.

Would be grateful for any help  or advice

Regards

Hi  @ppeetteerr

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thank you for reaching out.

I understand that your HP All-in-One 24-cb0000 series PC is unable to boot when Secure Boot is enabled. I appreciate the troubleshooting you've already completed, including clearing and reloading the Secure Boot keys and updating the BIOS.

To assist you further, kindly share the below details:

  • Does the PC display any error message, beep code, or black screen when Secure Boot is enabled?
  • Are you running the original factory-installed Windows 11, or was Windows reinstalled at any point?
  • Have any hardware changes been made recently, such as adding/replacing an SSD, HDD, RAM, or graphics device?
  • Is the system able to boot normally when Secure Boot is disabled?
  • Do you see the boot drive listed in the BIOS under Storage or Boot Options?

In the meantime, kindly try the below steps and confirm :

  1. Load BIOS Default Settings
    • Restart the PC and press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS.
    • Select Restore Defaults or Load Setup Defaults.
    • Save and exit the BIOS.
    • Re-enable Secure Boot and test.
  2. Verify Boot Mode
    • Enter BIOS Setup (F10).
    • Confirm that Legacy Support is disabled.
    • Ensure the system is configured to boot in UEFI Mode, as Secure Boot requires UEFI.
  3. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics (Click here for steps )
    • Power on the PC and repeatedly tap F2.
    • Run both the Storage Test and Memory Test to verify hardware health.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
