I will try disabling legacy mode.

How do you do that  (set up your OS to provide memory mini-dumps) ?

The following article describes how to do that.

I have not yet found a solution to my current problem and therefore will try to get a new much modern motherboard and will share the results.

Thank you for your replies though.

Much appreciated.

I got a new motherboard and everything is working fine. I am enjoying my PC and I would like to say that this solved my problem. Seemed my previous mobo was incompatible with the gpus I had. I got an AsRock Pro 4. It is a beautiful and impressive mobo. Works like a charm. Thanks for all the replies.
