My computer randomly shuts down. The light is still on the computer but nothing is on the screen. I manually restart the computer and it takes about 15 minutes to get a functional desktop. This happens about once per month. Is there a "fix"?

@TerryN10 -- this could be an "overheating" problem, where the motherboard detects the "over-temperature" and shuts down the computer, to prevent permanent damage.
Or, it could be:
* failing power-supply
* failing motherboard
* failing processor
If you restart your computer, and choose to launch the HP Hardware Diagnostics, do you get any error-messages?
