How can I get the part information for the replacement fan?

My model is Pavilion  510-p040qe

I tried to search for it but not found.

My search for HP PAVILION DESKTOP - 510-P040QE CTO

did find your model, and displays:

859086-001Fan - System Fan, 9225 2500RPM Axial

but it also shows 'N/A' -- "Not Available" for purchase from HP. Sigh.

You'll have to find a "generic" fan that is compatible.

This message could be interpreted as "the fan is slow to start.  When the POST (Power On Self Test) started, the fan did not respond with a <ready> status".

If pressing F1 is too burden-some everytime you power-on your computer, then replace the fan.

Sometimes, that is much easier to do than to try to get a teenager out of bed in the morning -- another "slow starter".
