Hi @Cornel_h,
Welcome to HP Forums!
I have read your post and wanted to help.
I understand that the recovery manager failed on your laptop. And your laptop hangs or freezes sometimes.
Can you start the laptop into Windows now? If the laptop cannot start, try the last link on this document: HP PCs - Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 10)
If you can start the laptop normally, try the steps on this document: HP PCs - Computer Locks Up or Freezes (Windows 10, 😎

Hello,
🙂 i finally found a solution. After 3 fail recovery attempts, i performed a hard reset on the laptop as metioned in maintenance manual (remove batery, keep power button pressed for about 20 seconds). After the hard reset the factory recovery worked as described in the manual. I dont know why it worked, maybe the hard reset cleared some residual memory which caused the recovery fail, maybe someting else.
Anyway thanks alot for the interest and the solution 🙂
