Hey, My PC recommended that I reset it as it wasn't running well. I followed the PCs instructions on how too reset it. My computer has now been stuck on the resetting screen at 23% for 7 hours and hasn't moved. I read elsewhere people who turned off there computer and ruined it. Anyone have any idea in how too fix this? Thanks

Hi:
7 hours seems a bit too long for the recovery to process.
You will probably have no choice but to eventually turn it off and try to install Windows a different way.
Both methods would require you to have access to another Windows PC running Windows 7 64 bit or newer on it.
1. Make a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC. It is basically the same as what you are doing now, but the media is bootable.
Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery tool...

2. If you are stuck in the same predicament with the cloud recovery tool, then you can also clean install W10 by making bootable installation media using the Media creation tool at the link below. Make the 64 bit installation media.

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
