HP Elite Slice Base Model

Hello HP ,

I need an **SMC.bin file** to reset the BIOS administrator/setup password on an **HP Elite Slice (G1)** so I can access the BIOS and apply a firmware update for Secure Boot certificates (post-June-2026). Device details:  **Model:** HP Elite Slice (G1, i5-7500T) -  **Current BIOS:** P25 Ver. 02.62 (15 Jun 2023) - **BIOS Mode:** UEFI, Secure Boot is enabled

Situation:The device was in long-term storage and missed the automatic Secure Boot certificate updates. After 30 June 2026, Windows Update can no longer renew these certificates, so I must update the BIOS manually. However, a BIOS administrator password is set and unknown. I have proof of purchase (invoice) and photos of the product label and System Information screen (Esc → F1 at boot).  Is it possible to request HP for a smc.bin file?
