Selected "Onboard" in BIOS setup

Trying to correct a problem and inavertantly selected "Onboard" heading under a video in the bios setup mode and now am unable to get back into bios setup to correct it. Booting up the computer the monitor doesn't come alive and doesn't see a signal. Any suggestions please...

Hi:

The only suggestions I can offer would be to:

1.  Remove the AMD HD 5450 graphics card, connect the monitor cable to the onboard Radeon HD4200 video card's video out port and that should give you a signal.

2. Clear the CMOS with the HD 5450 card installed.

Thanks Paul, I don't see a Radeon HD4200 video card.

There are DVI and a VGA sockets on the rear directly connected

to the motherboard with black covers saying do not remove.

Do I remove the HD 5450 graphics card and use the VGA

socket?

Hi:

You can't see the HD4200 adapter because it has been disabled by the HD 5450.

Remove the HD 5450, remove one of the black covers that indicate 'Do not remove,' and plug your monitor cable into one of those ports.

Then turn on the PC and you should have a display that will allow you to go into the BIOS and disable the onboard video.

Then shut down the PC and install the graphics card again, connect the cable to the HD 5450 and you should be back to where you were before you enabled the onboard graphics in the BIOS.
