When I attach a USB HID device (RFID reader) the boot time (before OS) increase by 4 minutes.
I have tried to ajust almost everything possible in the BIOS, but it's still the same.
Does anyone have an idea about why and what to do about it?
I have tried to place a USB hub in between, but it's the same result.

Sorry, but I've run into the same problem on a laptop -- as it tries to boot from anything connected via a USB port, and if that is NOT bootable, then it takes a long time to finally give up and boot from the hard drive.
I don't know of any way around this other than to wait until the PC has booted to connect the USB device.
