Your motherboard can "boot" from several devices:
* internal CD/DVD device,
* External USB-connected CD/DVD device,
* USB memory-stick,
* disk-drive,
* using PXE ("Pre eXecution Environment") -- the abbreviation PEE ("Pre Execution Enviroment") was not chosen,
PXE allows a computer, usually in a "corporate" network, to load Windows from a "boot-server" that exists somewhere on that corporate network, through the Ethernet cable.
If you are in a "home" environment, there is no "boot-server".
Turn your computer on.
Immediately, enter BIOS SETUP.
Change the "boot order" to exclude PXE, and to put the disk-drive onto the top of the list.
Save/Exit from BIOS SETUP.
If your computer is not booting from the disk-drive (where Windows is installed), you have a problem with the disk-drive.
Reboot your computer, and immediately launch the HP Hardware Diagnostics.
Run the "short" (a few minutes) test against the disk-drive.
If you get a "fail", then stop.
If you get some other error-message, tell us what it is.
If you get a "pass", then run the "long" (many minutes) test against the disk-drive.
