Stuck on the Power-on Authentication Screen with the password I've never created. Being told by HP I have to pay for a new cmos chip, or something. I know 100% that besides the PIN code I have not set any passwords.

 

Is there a way to get a HALT code based on SERIAL, or MODEL number, so I could try to get the code to get inside the BIOS?

 

Any other way to overcome this problem?
