Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the TPM firmware on my OMEN 30L Desktop (GT13-0xxx series).

I am running Windows 11 and have already updated to the latest available BIOS version (F.32). However, in the TPM management window, the AMD fTPM firmware still shows version 3.90.0.5.

This firmware version seems to be rejected by the anti-cheat system used by Call of Duty (RICOCHET). Because of this, the game will not start and reports a TPM 2.0 issue.

I have already tried the following steps:
.Updated BIOS to F.32
.Updated Windows completely
.Disabled and re-enabled fTPM in BIOS (reset TPM)
. Installed optional HP firmware updates

Despite all of this, the firmware version remains unchanged.

My question:
Is there a new BIOS update in development that includes an updated AMD fTPM firmware (e.g., version 3.99.x or 5.xx)?

Thank you very much for any information or assistance!Screenshot 2025-11-10 201559.png

Hi @Aleqriia,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for sharing the screenshots; they’re very helpful. Here’s what I can see:

  • BIOS Version: AMI F.32 (dated 31.03.2025)
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
  • TPM Manufacturer: AMD
  • TPM Firmware Version: 3.90.0.5
  • TPM Specification: 2.0
  • Status: TPM is ready and active

Your analysis is correct: the AMD fTPM firmware version (3.90.0.5) is older, and some anti-cheat systems like Call of Duty’s Ricochet require newer TPM firmware for integrity checks.

Why BIOS Update Didn’t Change TPM Firmware

  • TPM firmware updates are often bundled with AGESA microcode updates inside BIOS releases.
  • If HP’s latest BIOS (F.32) still shows 3.90.0.5, it means HP hasn’t yet integrated AMD’s newer fTPM firmware (e.g., 3.99.x or 5.xx) into their BIOS package.

What You Can Do Now

  1. Confirm Latest BIOS Availability
    • Visit HP’s official driver page for OMEN 30L GT13 series: 👉 Official HP® Support
    • Enter your exact product number (GT13-0xxx) and check if a newer BIOS than F.32 exists.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, it does not solve my problem. I have already done everything you suggested. There is no BIOS update more recent than F.32! I cannot update the AMD. Everywhere it says I have to update the BIOS, but I cannot do that because it is already the latest version.

In addition, when I select my product via HP Login, I can only choose Windows 10 as the operating system because that's the one it was purchased with. However, Windows 11 was then added for free via Windows Update. I can't even select this in the HP drop-down menu on my PC in HP.
I don't know what to do anymore. It's annoying because the PC cost a lot of money and isn't really that old. I don't understand why there are no updates available or why this is such a problem. Especially since it's a “GAMING PC” from OMEN by HP and not directly an HP computer. My husband's older OMEN PC doesn't have this problem because it has INEC instead of AMD....??
