HP Prodesk 600G1 tower
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Prodesk 600G1 tower
Accidentally the hood lock HLCK pin was shorted due to the tip of the screw drivers
And suddenly the computer shut down
Then I tried to turn it on again and again by pressing the power button on the computer
But nothing happened. The computer is behaving like the dead

Could the power button be broken?

If you use that screwdriver to "short" the two "power" pins on the motherboard, does that cause the computer to power-on ?
