hp all-in-one - 24-g020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got really hard times with my PC, It kept restarting itself many times. I format it and installed windows 10, the issue has not solved! it became worse.

Now, I get this error " the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error" after I finished installing windows 10.

Any solution?

Hi

Not sure which model you have, but there is troubleshooting here...

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-24-g000-all-in-one-desktop-pc-series/10734619/model/11975660

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-24-g000-all-in-one-desktop-pc-series/10734619/mo...

There are lots of possible driver conflicts EG:

So matching you your OS would be a good place to start.  Maybe use this tool?

Hi

I dont know what model number you have.  Below is 1 of 7 choices.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-24-g000-all-in-one-desktop-pc-series-touch/11059040/model/11...

So if you ID your model number, then maybe try and install the correct drivers.

Try   WinKey + R   type   msinfo32  and read the SKU: from line 9.

But, How can I install these drivers while there is no windows installed and can get in to the windows environment?

Thanks,

Hi

First of all let's all laugh about the message.

Encountered an unexpected error, if only Microsoft would tell us in advance of the expected errors.

So

Step 1 Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.

Step 2 Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected

devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.

Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.

Step 3 Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.

Step 4 Power on your PC, press Esc (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.

Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).

Step 5 Windows Logo key + Ctrl + Shift + B

Step 6 If you’re using multiple displays, try projecting video to a different monitor.

Press the Windows Logo key + P, select a display, and then press Enter.
