Hello,
I'm trying to boot from my USB pendrive which is a Patriot Supersonic Rage 2 128 GB and the bios of my HP Mini 400 G2 doesn't seem to recognize it, even in boot menu. However, if I boot from my Ubuntu installed on the SSD drive of the machine, Ubuntu does recognize the pendrive and it's content.
I tried to boot from it on my laptop and everything works fine; so I don't think the problem comes from the pendrive.
I appreciate any help!

You're quite possibly dealing with an issue that rolled out with the last bios update.
We are experiencing the same thing with our ProDesk 600 G2. There are about 4 changes that have to be made.
First is to disable secure boot.
This is an enhancement, but if you're working with hundreds of computers like we are it's a pain.
